EHR Incentive Programs Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
The professionals that are also covered by the government mandate and cash incentives are:
- Medical Doctors (MDs)
- Osteopaths
- Chiropractors
- Doctors of dental surgery or dental medicine
- Optometrists
- And for Medicaid, though unfortunately not for Medicare, Nurse Practitioners, Certified Nurse-Midwives; and in some cases even Physician Assistants.
These medical professionals are also under the government mandate to use EHR software but they also qualify for either the Medicare or Medicaid program but not both. The great news is that adapting the EHR software in 2013 can make these medical professionals $8500 from either Medicare or Medicaid simply by starting it to use it as specified in 2013. The time is running out but it is not too late to put an extra $8500 in your pocket on something that you are mandated to use or eventually be penalized for not using. The government can cover the cost of adapting this electronic medical records system and if you choose right you can still profit directly from it. There is zero reasons why to delay using it since it will be mandated soon and you can make money if you start in 2013.
For those that fear the continued cost of most of these EHR software, fear no more, there are several free software out there and the one we train medical practices on is not only free but it is a top 10 rated EHR software and beloved by tens of thousands of physicians. So if you were not aware that you can receive a government incentive for starting to use a great software that will make your life easier, it is not too late now as you can benefit from the incentive is you act in 2013—so please act now!
Very nice and helpful information has been given in this article. I like the way you explain the things. Keep posting. Thanks..
